MTEL Health Education Test
The Health Education MTEL® test has five content subtests: personal health, healthy interpersonal relationships, community health, health-related information, and health-related skills and processes. The candidate is also tested on the ability to apply knowledge and understanding of the subject matter by writing an essay and/or short answer that evaluates and analyzes a subarea of health education. There are 75 to 85 multiple choice questions covering the content subareas and two open response questions relevant to the understanding and application of the content.
